FAQ
What is a usage-limit reset?
Codex and Claude subscriptions come with 5-hour and weekly usage caps. Occasionally the vendor manually clears everyone's usage back to zero — after an outage, a bug, a launch, or a milestone. That manual clear is what this site records; it is separate from the normal rolling windows.
Where does the data come from?
Public posts by OpenAI's Codex lead @thsottiaux and Anthropic's @ClaudeDevs account and Claude Code team members. A script checks those accounts every 20 minutes and files anything that announces a reset. Every row links to the original post.
How accurate is the 'next reset' estimate?
It is the median gap between the last ten resets, added to the date of the most recent one. Neither company has ever promised a reset cadence, so treat it as a rough hint. Long quiet stretches happen.
Did the classifier miss one?
Possible — detection is keyword-based on purpose, so it prefers missing a reset over inventing one. If you spot a reset post that is not listed, the upstream project at howtok.net reviews candidates regularly.
